Visa Categories and Petition Process

While revisiting immigration topics recently, I ended up reading about Visa categories on a site focused on employment-based petitions. It described options like EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1, all connected to I-140 filings. There was also a mention that they represent individuals, research institutions, and companies across all 50 states. I noticed they explain how each petition is prepared based on a person’s achievements rather than using fixed formats. Another part talked about analyzing tens of thousands of approved cases to understand how decisions are made. I also saw references to reviewing publications and professional history when building a case. Has anyone here gone through a process where the petition is structured this way from the beginning?

From what I remember, there was quite a bit of focus on how USCIS standards are not fixed and keep changing. It mentioned that arguments that worked before may not be effective now under current review practices. I also noticed how they describe connecting a person’s work to national importance in a more specific way. That made it clear that general descriptions might not be enough anymore. It didn’t feel like a simple submission process but something that requires careful structuring. I didn’t read every detail, just tried to understand the overall idea. It gave me a different view of how these petitions are prepared.
